Chicken, cranberry extract, wheat-grass and papaya. A cup of oat-porridge and 4 cans of tuna will be added and dinner is ready… with some kibbles sprinkled over it.

Please help find Scarback!
She has a scar at left shoulder and a long tail with a kink at the tip
Reporting animal abuse is not an easy task… you may be given the run-around (SPCA – AVA – Police).
We ended up leaving the unhelpful NPC and went to another NPP where a friend of mine had previously made reports regarding animal abuse! Two officers went to speak to the abuser and later reinforcement of Mandarin-speaking officers arrived.
The abuser was warned but she did not reveal anything about Scarback’s where-about! She had told M this morning that she engages the Pest Control to have the cats killed.
We can search the neighbourhood but if Scarback was relocated by Pest Control there is little hope…
Suspected to have been “removed” by the cat-abuser. The Chinese women in her 50s staying at the second floor of Blk *26 had been seen beating the cats… and at one time she was observed trying to hit Pinky! She told someone that she would remove the cats at her void deck and the next day Scarback was missing.
I send sms to a neighbouring caregiver who told me that a limping grey tabby was seen at *37 yesterday. Went to search but did not see any tabby…
I wish that a police report would be made but as usual difficult to get the witnesses to do so…! This woman has to be stopped or Squealer may be next… sigh! SPCA Abuse posters have been pasted at the lift landings and appeal for witnesses pasted all over the place… yet she still continues!
Again a cat with flu symptoms about a week after visiting vet!
Took off Stoney’s E-collar on the 2nd day because his ears turned red. I think some kind of fungal infection, similar too what Tommy had… his left-over creme worked for Stoney’s ears, too.The leg is also healing but that was not a fungal infection.
Tip: Try melon juice for allergic skin conditions! Squeeze a little piece of watermelon in your palm and syringe 3ml for at least 10 days to see results. Actually I gave Stoney 6 to 9ml twice a day. This method was recommended by a Chinese physician

Sophus had been around for over 3 years, while Robin appeared in July and was sterilized August ’10.
Excerpt from email
“Recently there have been an upsurge of feline related activities occurring primarily at block 726. These activities mostly nocturnal by nature have caused inconsiderable inconveniences to the residents of that block. They range from defecation or urinating on common property, to sneaking into home causing a menace and etc. Also reported were sightings of ‘ghost feeders’ on a nightly basis. Hence under such circumstances I like to seek your assistance in resolving their woes.”
Checked all the 2nd floor corridors at 11 pm… no sign of cats or food, water, defecation, smell whatsoever! Noticed that the flowerpots at the unit of the suspected abuser had sharp broken tiles stuck into the soil.
Checked the void deck at 11 pm and again at 1 am… lots of rubbish but nothing that could in any way be connected to feline related activities!
Bubu and Thor are missing from block *26 and King from the adjacent block. These 3 cats went missing after the latest incident when TC officer went around the area with Pest Controllers and trap, supposedly for the purpose of taking photographs and counting cats. 2 home cats went missing and later they admitted that one cat was caught… but later released.
I am still grieving the loss of these 3 cats… Bubu was sterilized more than 2 years ago.
Pinky is also from Block *26. He was adopted recently.
Snoopy too, is from *26 and now safely in my home. And Ms Lim from Town Council can still accuse me that I bring in cats!!!
Now there is only Bibi left at *26 and the two quite new ones, Star and Squealer.
I also came to know that there is a cat abuser staying on the 2nd floor. Residents saw her chasing after the cats and beating them. I put up posters requesting for witnesses to come forward and was surprises that the posters actually stayed up… they would usually be torn down the very next day… probably because there is now a new officer in charge of this area.
Today I received an email about “cat activities” at this very Block.. that ghost feeders would place food at the void deck and 2nd floor corridor. I didn’t notice any left-overs at the void deck during my feeding, neither did I see anything that day when placing the appeals for witnesses under the doors of the 2nd floor units.
Of course as usual, the complainant was not revealed.
Received Dr Bryan’s call while on the way to the clinic. He doubts that Manja will make it… said that he is breathing heavily. The blood tests didn’t show anything. Manja’s tail still responded but his eyes didn’t…
Cali is doing better… she ate some Liver-Chicken Feast.
Brought Stoney to the vet… no mites, no fungal infection. Actually the Watermelon juice may have worked. Dr. Bryan commented that the wound is dry and the colour has changed… which means there is granulating tissue. Stoney will have to wear the E-collar for two weeks and also taking antibiotics.
My ear infection is not getting better but worse… now with sore throat and headache added. Will stop the acupuncture at the Freeclinic… although it did help with the hypertension.
Storm is now with a good fosterer. Tara has just been released and I have 2 sterilisation vouchers to give away unless S is willing to bring the male in her area… which I doubt!
Cali is still at the vet… still hiding behind the carrier and has not been eating this morning. She will have to be hospitalized until well enough to be released… This is a first for me… as I would usually be very eager to take a cat out for home-nursing… but the body is not willing so I have to admit defeat!
Manja is still the same and blood tests will be done tomorrow. I will try to have done whatever is needed.
I should be getting used to the fact that Feeders don’t really care… neither about the cats nor about me, pushing everything to me and their job is done… but it still hurts!
Hope to visit Manja and Cali tomorrow and bring Stoney at the same time. Melon juice seems not to be working for his skin condition. Maybe I will finally see a doctor, probably going to a nearby private clinic… from past experience no point going to Polyclinic.
Cali has flu but the good news is that she has started eating. Will probably take her home on Monday.
Manja had vomited several time, either right after feeding, drinking water, or a few hours later… no choice but to hospitalize to give him a chance. He looks weak, pale gums, dehydrated. Manja was put on drip and the vet will do blood test on Monday if he is not improving. Manja had passed 2 or 3 small lumps of hard poo but the vet still felt some lumps and gave him an enema.
Mary came with 9 large containers of chicken, she had made an extra portion of chicken for Cali. The 8 cats from the closing-down shelter are getting better… but still look very thin. Gave some of the soup to Manja… then had to rush off.
Cali has been warded and on drip. She sneezed several times at the vet’s.
I took Manja home. He had an injection and will be on antibiotics for a week. He drank water after return from vet visit and immediatedly vomitted a large amount of liquid. Syringe-fed him a while later and it stayed in so far….
According to the feeders both cats have not been eating for about a week… and Sylvia told me only yesterday. They look very thin and are also dehydrated.
Sylvia couldn’t find Manja (Area 3) but he came to me when I shook my bunch of keys… surprised he still remembers me after all this time.
I had seen Cali (Area 2) only a few times… she was abandoned (already tipped) about a year ago. She looks half the size now… Ah Gek led me up to the 3rd floor corridor but then could not find her… I walked to the other end of the corridor and picked her up.
Managed to syringe Manja 1/4 cup of diluted Avoderm… but could not do so with Cali… as she growled and hissed.
Will bring both to the vet tomorrow.
Snoopy is not happy that Tara is in “her” cage… it’s the place where she usually eats her meals… controlled portions!
Had change of plans…
Didn’t bring Stoney to the vet… trying the watermelon juice method first.
Instead, I finally went to a clinic for my ear infection… which had been dragging on and getting worse. Had acupuncture and taking herbs for the ear and also herbs for hypertension and insomnia. Was told that I should come back for acupuncture 2 or 3x a week for at least 10 sessions. Have to try make time for it. Before I never new from which direction the fighting sounds came from… now sometimes I cant even hear the cats fighting 😦
