Update on Community Cats

After a call from CWS, the Property Officer at Town Council agreed to let me try and mediate with the complainant before removing any of the sterilised cats. We will now try to get them all done as soon as possible…. my target is at least 2 cats a month. I am also planning to have them wear collars, to make the community cats more acceptable and less prone to abuse. Hopefully people will think twice before abusing a cat that ‘belongs’ to someone. I have already made around 20 collars using broad colorful shoelaces and press buttons. The only problem is that they can come off very easily (as they should for safety reasons) and so may have to be replaced frequently. I will just try it out, since they are easy to make and hardly cost anything.
